Service Freezers Limited follows the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and its regulations. This policy sets out how we meet them.
Our Commitment
Service Freezers Limited is committed to treating all people in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence. We believe in integration and equal opportunity.
We are committed to meeting the needs of people with disabilities in a timely manner. We do this by preventing and removing barriers to accessibility, and by meeting the accessibility requirements of the AODA.
Our Website
We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at Level AA. The site:
- can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator;
- gives text alternatives for meaningful images;
- meets WCAG colour contrast requirements for text;
- uses clear headings, page landmarks, and labelled form fields;
- adjusts to small screens and works when zoomed to 200%;
- gives the silent background videos at the top of the Home and Capabilities pages a pause button and a text description;
- turns off its animations, and doesn't start those videos, when your device is set to reduce motion.
We last reviewed the site on November 3, 2026, with automated testing and manual checks.
Known limitations
- The facility video in the "See It in Motion" section of our Home page is hosted on YouTube and doesn't have captions yet. A text description is available on request.
- The map on our Contact page is provided by Google Maps and may not be fully accessible. Our full address is also listed in text on the same page.
If you have trouble using any part of this site, contact us and we'll provide the information another way.
Accessible Formats
On request, we'll provide information and communications, including this policy, in an accessible format or with communication supports. We'll do this in a timely manner and at no extra cost, and we'll consult you to find a format that meets your needs.
Customer Service
Assistive devices
You're welcome to use your own assistive devices to access our goods, services, and facilities.
Service animals
If you have a service animal, you're welcome to keep it with you in the parts of our premises open to the public, unless the law excludes it. Food safety rules exclude animals from food processing areas. Where an animal is excluded, we'll offer another way to provide our services.
Support persons
You're welcome to bring a support person, who may accompany you anywhere you're permitted to go on our premises.
Service disruptions
If a facility or service that people with disabilities rely on is temporarily unavailable, we'll give notice of the reason, how long we expect it to last, and any alternatives. We'll post the notice at our premises and on this website.
Training
We train our employees, and anyone who deals with the public on our behalf, on providing accessible customer service, on the AODA, and on the Ontario Human Rights Code as it relates to people with disabilities. We keep records of this training.
Employment
We accommodate applicants and employees with disabilities. We let applicants know that accommodations are available during recruitment, and we provide workplace accommodations, accessible formats, and individualized emergency response information to employees who need them.
Feedback
We welcome feedback on how we provide accessible service, and on this website. You can reach us by email, by mail, in person, or through our contact page:
Service Freezers Limited 3160 Caravelle Dr, Mississauga, ON L4V 1K9, CanadaEmail: info@servicefreezers.com
We'll acknowledge your feedback, tell you what we'll do about it, and respond in the format you prefer. This policy and our feedback process are also available in an accessible format on request.
Changes to Our Policies
We won't make changes to this or any other policy without considering the impact on people with disabilities. Any policy that doesn't respect and promote the dignity and independence of people with disabilities will be changed or removed.
